Benjamin Dettmar
Benjamin Dettmar (2020) recently graduated with a certificate in archival administration. He is now an instructor at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. 
Lance Werner
Lance Werner (2004) , executive director of Kent District Library, was appointed in January by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to the State Historical Records Advisory Board for a three-year term. The board serves as a central advisory body for historical records planning and for National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC)-funded projects in the state. 
Shannon McDermitt
Shannon McDermitt (2017) was hired as a web developer for the Wayne State University Libraries. In addition to her 2017 master of library science degree, McDermitt (pictured with her dog, Gus) received a graduate certificate in Information Management, specializing in User Experience. She previously was a programmer analyst at Ipsos, a global market research firm.  
Angela Kidd Shinozaki
Angela Kidd Shinozaki (2006) is the author of The Healing Star, a light fantasy novel for grades 3-6. Although this is her debut novel, Shinozaki (writing under the pen name A. Kidd) has been making up stories since before she could write them down. She is an artist and performance poet whose poetry has been published in literary magazines. She earned her MLIS degree with a specialization in children’s librarianship from Wayne State in 2006.  
Sandra Calemme McCarthy
Sandra Calemme McCarthy (1990) , a faculty librarian for Washtenaw Community College, was elected chair of the 2019-2020 Community and Junior Libraries Section of the Association of College & Research Libraries. The executive committee serves to share common areas of interest to enhance library services and librarianship in libraries and learning resource centers in two-year institutions, and to support the educational programs of these institutions. 
Andrea Estelle
Andrea Estelle (2012) , director of Otsego District Library, is also director of the Southwest Michigan Library Cooperative, a multi-type library system made up of public, academic, school and special libraries in the area.
