Advisory Board Member's Library Receives $1.2 Million Grant

The Coca-Cola Company has announced it is awarding $1.2 Million to the Robert W. Woodruff Library on the campus of the Atlanta University Center, Atlanta, Georgia, to upgrade the library's IT infrastructure and enhance the ability to manage and provide access to critical archival documents, such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. papers. This grant is part of an overall award of $7.2 Million that the company is providing to Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University and the Morehouse School of Medicine, all part of the Atlanta University Center. Ms. Loretta Parham, CEO and Library Director, Robert W. Woodruff Library at the Atlanta University Center, is a member of the Advisory Board of the Wayne State University School of Library and Information Science.
