Dr. Gordon Neavill will be retiring from the School of Library Information Science this year, after 23 years of teaching and research. Dr. Neavill joined the SLIS faculty in August of 1994 and has taught courses related to History of Books, Printing and Publishing; Cultural Implications of the Digital Revolution; Organization of Knowledge; Descriptive Bibliography.

He has conducted research on numerous topics related to library and information science. He has published scholarly articles and books in multiple research areas, including digital information issues and book history.
