SIS faculty member Dr. Laura Sheble recently had her work published in American Scientist. The article "The persistence and peril of misinformation" was co-authored with Brian G. Southwell and Emily A. Thorson. The article focuses on the problem of misinformation in media and is adapted from their introductory chapter in the forthcoming book Misinformation and Mass Audiences.
