Judith J. Field, Senior Lecturer in the School of Library and Information Science, has been elected Chair of Division III (Library Services) of IFLA, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. IFLA, the leading international body representing the interests of library and information services and their users, serves as the global voice of the library and information profession. As part of her role as Division Chair, Professor Field will serve on IFLA's Governing Board and on its Professional Committee. Professor Field's term of office runs through 2011.
