Q&A with Lance Werner "" Candidate for ALA Presidency and SIS Alumnus

Werner HeadshotLance Werner (MLIS '04) is currently running for the 2020-21 American Library Association presidency. Library Journal has published a Q&A interview with the candidates where you can learn more about Werner's positions on issues facing the profession.

Voting will open on March 11 and will conclude on April 3. Results will be announced on April 10.

Werner is a well-known library and community leader in the state of Michigan. He is Director of the Kent District Library and is a past president of the Michigan Library Association (2012-13). He also serves on the School of Information Sciences Advisory Board.
