SIS alumni Edras Rodríguez-Torres (MLIS '15) and Sheila García (MLIS '17) are currently participating in Resident Librarian program at the University of Michigan. The program is part of a nation-wide effort focusing on increasing diversity in the academic library field.

This fall they will have been in the program for one year. Edras and Sheila were featured in an article for The University Record, the newsletter for University of Michigan faculty and staff.
