SIS at the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) 2019 Conference
The School of Information Sciences at Wayne State University will be well represented at the annual conference for the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) taking place this week in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Activities, Presentations and Posters
Professor Stephen Bajjaly will assume the role of ALISE President during the business meeting on September 25. He will also moderate a juried panel titled, "Leadership During Organizational Restructuring of LIS Programs."
Associate Professor Deborah Charbonneau will discuss copyright and intellectual property literacy, during the panel "Copyright and LIS in a Global Context: Current Knowledge and Future Trends," on September 25.
Assistant Professor Chris D'Arpa along with research team members Noah Lenstra at University of North Carolina - Greensboro, Ellen Rubenstein and Susan Burke at University of Oklahoma will present a poster titled "Small and Rural Public Libraries: Supporting Community Health and Wellness " about their IMLS-funded research project.
