SLIS Alumna and Faculty Member Article Featured for September 2012

The Informed Librarian Online (www.informedlibrarian.com), selected an article written by alumna Janelle Thomas, LibSci "11, and faculty member, Dr. Robert Holley, as its Featured Article for September 2012. The article, "Management versus Repetitive Tasks--Avoiding "Working for the Weekend": A Crash Course in Motivating Library Staff Faced with Seemingly Endless Tasks," will be available for the website's Premium Members to read. Thomas co-authored the article with Dr. Holley based on her research paper for his LIS 7060, Academic Libraries, course.

Each monthly issue, in addition to linking directly to the latest tables of contents of over 320 journals, with links to full-text as available, selects a few journal articles to highlight for its many thousands of readers.

The Informed Librarian Online also offers members access to ILOSearch, a database of over 235,000 journal articles and documents from the library journals the group indexes. It is a fully-searchable sophisticated database which functions as an index to the library literature.
