SLIS Assistant Professor, Dr. Deborah Charbonneau, has been selected as a 2015 recipient of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) New Leaders Award. The New Leaders award is very competitive. Established in 2010, the award is designed to recruit, engage, and retain new members and to identify potential for new leadership in the association.

Dr. Charbonneau will accept the award at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting in the fall. The award includes a formal mentoring assignment within the Society and free ASIS&T conference registration for two years.
