The School of Library and Information Science is pleased to announce a partnership with the Detroit Area Library Network (DALNET) and the Suburban Library Cooperative (SLC), to offer $6,000 scholarships to paraprofessional employees of libraries within the cooperatives who are pursuing their MLIS degrees. The Library Workforce Development Scholarship will give each recipient $1000 tuition remission per semester, over six semesters, while pursuing the 36-credit MLIS. This special scholarship is funded by the WSU Graduate School. There are eight scholarships available to new MLIS students for the Fall 2015 semester.
