SLIS Welcomes Kim Schroeder to Full-Time Faculty

The School of Library and Information Science is pleased to welcome Ms. Kimberly Schroeder as a full-time lecturer, effective February 1, 2013. In this new position Ms. Schroeder joins the School's growing faculty who specialize in archives and digital content management. Ms. Schroeder, who holds an MLIS and Graduate Certificate in Archival Administration from the School, has been an adjunct faculty member since 1999 and Career Services Adviser since 2009. In addition to expanded teaching and advising duties, Kim will continue to oversee the School's career services activities.

Kim's most recent full-time position was as the Head of Visual Resources Collections and Media Services, Department of the History of Art at the University of Michigan. Previous work experiences also include running her own consulting practice and serving as the lead archivist for the General Motors Media Archives.
