Special Libraries: Finding a Home on Pinterest

Many people forget that special libraries also serve as information centers and employ librarians and information professionals. Pinterest has become a tool to help bring awareness and publicize the unique holdings of special libraries.

These libraries cater to the populations of their specific state and often feature state authors and history.

  • Donors Forum Library (Chicago, IL) Hailed as Midwest's largest collection of nonprofit and philanthropic resources, the Donors Forum Library's pins are helpful to anyone interested in this topic.
  • Little Rock Air Force Base Library (Little Rock, AR) This library proudly serves those in the military and their families at this air force base.
