SIS is often contacted by individuals and organizations in need of assistance with archival type projects. Currently there are two such requests for volunteers that have not been filled.

1) A Detroit-area LGBTQ leader is seeking assistance with an Information Architecture evaluation and overall website improvement as well as the digitization of archival documents.

2) Another Detroit-area project is related to the digitization of a series of binders tracking the evolution of the Cass Corridor. The binders contain news articles about the Cass Corridor from 1970 to the present. Assistance is needed to digitize and index these materials.
