Mike Dutkewych (he/him)

Mike Dutkewych is an Academic Services Officer II for the School of Information Sciences.

He earned a master’s degree in Library & Information Science with a certificate in Archival Administration from the school in 2017, and a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Film Studies from the Wayne State College of Liberal Arts & Sciences in 2008. After completing his MLIS, Dutkewych worked for the university’s Computing & Information Technology department for six years designing and implementing classroom technology systems and providing support and training to students and faculty across the campus. Dutkewych is also an avid collector and historian of Detroit music from the 1950s-’60s, and has had his writing on the subject published in several anthologies and journals over the years.
