Jeffrey Hancks
Dr. Jeff Hancks is a professor in University Libraries and the Department of Counselor Education and College Student Personnel at Western Illinois University (WIU). He directs activities at the WIU-Quad Cities Library and coordinates the Master's degree program in Higher Education Leadership. Previously he served WIU as Director of Archives and Special Collections (2005-2015) and as Executive Director of the School of Global Education and Outreach (2016-2019).
Prior to WIU, Dr. Hancks served as an Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University Libraries (2003-2005).
Dr. Hancks has taught undergraduates and graduates at seven institutions in the United States and Denmark, ranging from community colleges to R1 institutions. He enjoys learning as much from his students as they (hopefully!) learn from him.
