Career path: Data analytics and information systems
Data analytics and information systems professionals are responsible for managing and organizing data, using several tools for data analysis and presentation of results and working with information systems and data management. They have technical and analytical skills, are able to manage projects, and should be able to translate technical results to stakeholders across different domains. Their roles may involve data acquisition, organization and preservation in libraries, government agencies, NGOs or businesses. They may be involved with software development, systems analysis and design, systems integration and other related activities. They collaborate with staff, clients, researchers or faculty to support various data, analytics and information system development projects.
