University Services


The WSU OneCard serves as your student identification, parking pass and library card. It can also be used to operate copy and vending machines or to purchase items from the bookstore or food courts in the Student Center. OneCards can be obtained at the WSU OneCard office on the second floor of the Welcome Center (Room 257). Please note that you must be registered in order to have your picture taken and to obtain your card.

Student Disability Services

The mission of Student Disability Services (SDS) is to serve as a resource for the Wayne State University community in order to ensure academic access and inclusion for students, supporting a view of disability guided by social, cultural, and political forces. Student Disability Services works to create inclusive academic environments by promoting the construct of universal design throughout the university. To this end, SDS provides academic accommodations, resources and training in assistive technology, and information to foster understanding of disability throughout the university community.

The Campus Health Center provides a wide range of primary health care services to keep Wayne State students healthy and ready to learn.

Writing, Research & Technology 

The WRT Zone (2nd floor, UGL) provides individual tutoring consultations, research assistance from librarians, and technology consultants, all free of charge for graduate and undergraduate students at WSU.The WRT Zone serves as a resource for writers, researchers, and students' technology projects. Sessions are run by Undergraduate and Graduate tutors, last up to 50 minutes, and tutors will work with students from initial idea development for an assignment all the way to the final draft of the assignment.
